Matthew 13:33 Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
Jesus encouraged us to be careful of the leaven of the pharisees because it has the power to influence our destiny.
Leaven is a powerful influence. Even though small, it makes a huge difference.
Jesus said the Kingdom of God can be compared to a leaven. A woman took that leaven or powerful weapon of influence and hid it in three measures of meal.
I want you to notice that the leaven was hidden from public eye view, so no one knew what was in the measures of meal that where cooked by the woman.
The Holy Spirit has the same powerful force of influence, though hidden from public eye view, he works within us to accomplish the will of God for our lives.
When you have the Holy Spirit inside of you, the world might not see Him, but they can see the effects of the Holy Spirit in your life. Read what Jesus said in John 3:5-8 when he had an encounter with Nicodemus J
John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
The Spirit realm is more powerful than the physical realm, because without the Spiritual realm, the earthly realm cannot be manifested.
The Holy Spirit then helps us to develop the right attitude towards our parents, husbands, wives, children, colleagues, friends, brothers & sisters and even people that we have employed and are below us in the pedigree of life.
I have seen very talented and gifted people with bad attitude and as a result of that, their destiny has been short lived.
In the new Year it is important to watch your attitude and allow the Holy Spirit to help you become all that God has destined you to become.
When God lifts you up be conscious of your source of lifting and don’t say you made it yourself because of your degrees or connections.
Remember ATTITUDE is EVERYTHING. So don’t allow a negative attitude to sabotage your destiny.
